Returns, Exchanges & Store Credit
Store Credit & Exchanges Only
At Malibu Road, we carefully curate luxury fashion, designer-inspired styles, vintage treasures, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Because many of our items are limited edition or individually sourced, all approved returns are eligible for store credit or an exchange only. We do not offer refunds.
15-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 15 days of receiving your order.
To qualify, your item must be:
- Unworn and unused
- In its original condition
- With all original tags attached
- In the original packaging (when applicable)
- Accompanied by your order confirmation or proof of purchase

Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- You received the wrong item.
- Your item arrived damaged or defective.
If your return is approved, we will provide detailed return instructions.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at julia@malibu-road.com with photos so we can resolve the issue promptly.
Vintage & One-of-a-Kind Pieces
Many Malibu Road pieces are vintage, handcrafted, custom-designed, or individually sourced.
While we make every effort to accurately photograph and describe every item, slight variations, natural wear, or unique characteristics are considered part of the garment's authenticity and are not considered defects.
These items are Non-Returnable
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Sale and clearance merchandise
- Gift cards
- Custom or personalized items
- Special orders
- Beauty and personal care products
- Items showing signs of wear, washing, perfume, smoke, deodorant, makeup, pet hair, or alteration
- Vintage jeans, denim skirts , shorts and vintage blazers
International Orders
All international sales are final.
Due to customs regulations, international shipping costs, duties, and taxes, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations on orders shipped outside the United States.
Please review sizing carefully before placing your order.
Exchanges & Store Credit
Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll notify you of its approval.
Approved returns will receive either:
- Store credit for the full purchase price (excluding original shipping charges), or
- An exchange for another item of equal value. If the replacement item costs more, you may simply pay the difference.
Store credit never expires and may be used toward any future Malibu Road purchase.
